Who we are
Soundy Pay Limited is a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada (incorporation number BC1599846; Business Number / BC program account 765953179BC0001), with its office at 112 - 970 Burrard Street, office 1476, Vancouver, BC V6Z 2R4, Canada. We are preparing a business foreign-exchange and international money-movement service.
We are pre-launch. FINTRAC registration is in preparation, and we are not currently offering regulated money services to the public. Because no services exist yet, we do not collect any of the information a live financial service would.
What this policy covers
This policy covers this website during our pre-launch period. It is dated July 23, 2026.
When our services launch, the way we handle information will change substantially — client onboarding, verification, and transaction records all involve personal information. Before that happens, we will publish a new, fuller privacy policy with a new effective date. Until then, the narrow scope described here is the whole story.
What we collect
We do not yet publish a public email address, telephone number, or contact form, so there is no correspondence channel to describe. We handle exactly one category of information:
- Hosting and security logs. Like virtually every website, the infrastructure that serves these pages records ordinary technical logs — IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type. These logs exist to keep the site reliable and to detect abuse, and they are kept only for routine, short retention periods.
What we do not collect
Because we are pre-launch, this website does not collect and we do not ask for:
- onboarding or identity documents;
- payment or banking information;
- account information of any kind — no accounts exist;
- analytics or behavioural tracking data;
- advertising cookies or cross-site identifiers;
- marketing lists, profiles, or purchased data.
There are no forms on this website, and we do not yet publish a public email address, telephone number, or contact form. Please do not send confidential financial information, account numbers, or identity documents to anyone claiming to represent us.
Why we use the information we have
We use the information above only to:
- keep the website secure and reliable; and
- meet legal obligations that apply to us.
We do not build marketing lists, and we do not send newsletters or promotional email.
Consent and Canadian privacy law
We handle the hosting and security logs described above in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act, as applicable, on the basis that they are a necessary and reasonable part of operating this website.
Because we do not yet publish a public contact channel, there is no correspondence to withdraw consent for. If that changes, this policy will be updated to describe how.
Storage, retention, and cross-border processing
Hosting and security logs are retained briefly by our infrastructure providers under their standard schedules, and are then deleted in the ordinary course.
Our hosting providers may store or process information on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. While information is outside Canada, it is subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
How we protect it
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a simple informational website: reputable infrastructure, access limited to the people who need it, and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, which is one more reason we do not ask you to send us sensitive information at all.
Your rights
A contact method for these requests will be published before any service becomes available. Once published, you will be able to:
- ask what personal information of yours we hold;
- ask us to correct it;
- ask us to delete your correspondence;
- raise a concern about how we handled it.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Children
This website is directed at businesses and their advisers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of majority.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices change — most notably before any service launch — and each version will carry its own effective date. This version is effective July 23, 2026. We do not yet publish a public contact channel for questions about it; details will be published before any service becomes available.
